Commercial Lighting Adelaide

Commercial lighting installed by electricians who wire the whole building, not a lighting retailer who hands you a box. Offices, retail floors, warehouses and car parks across Adelaide, with emergency and exit lighting done to AS 2293 at the same time.

Lighting we install on commercial sites

  • Office and tenancy lighting. Troffers, linear LED, downlights and task lighting to the workstation layout, with switching and sensors zoned to how the space is actually used.
  • Retail and hospitality. Track, feature and display lighting, and the dimming that makes a venue work after dark.
  • Warehouse and high-bay. LED high-bays on lifts, motion and daylight control, and racking-aware layouts so aisles are lit, not roofs.
  • External, security and car park. Wall packs, floods, pole lighting and the timers, sensors and photocells that run them.
  • Emergency and exit lighting. Installed, tested and recorded to AS 2293, and picked up on our compliance testing rounds afterwards.
  • EV charging for workplaces and fleets. Load-managed so several chargers share the supply you already have, rather than paying to upgrade it.

Upgrade or replace?

If the fittings are fluorescent, metal halide or early LED with failing drivers, replacement almost always pays for itself in power and maintenance. We do LED lighting upgrades as a standalone service with a fitting-by-fitting audit, so you can see the count, the wattage and the payback before deciding.

Working at height

Warehouse and facade lighting is done off an electric scissor lift or boom, by electricians with the tickets to operate them. That photo above is 1 of ours, on a commercial warehouse wall. If access is tight, we say so at the site visit and price the right equipment rather than improvise on the day.

FAQs

Commercial lighting questions

Do you supply the fittings or just install them?

Both. We can supply commercial-grade fittings through our wholesalers, or install fittings you've specified. Either way we check the fitting against the circuit, the ceiling and the emergency lighting requirement before it goes in.

Can lighting be replaced while the business is open?

Usually yes, in stages, with a 6am start to get the busiest areas done before the doors open. Some warehouse work is safer done outside operating hours, and we'll tell you if that applies.

Do you test emergency lighting after installing it?

Yes. Every emergency and exit fitting is tested, logged and given its 6-monthly schedule. We can carry that testing forward under a maintenance arrangement.
